Human dignity is one of the foundational values of the new South African Constitution. In order to create a society that is based upon dignity, the value of human dignity must be given form and content. This book offers a Christian perspective on the concept of human dignity and deals with crucial issues in Christian anthropology and ecclesiology. In doing so, it predominantly focuses on the problems that the post-Apartheid South African society experiences. Though the book primarily focusses on the South African context, the topics are relevant for theology as a whole.
